UGC NET SLET CSIR FAQ

Respected Sir,

I would like to enquire that I did M.Sc in Bioinformatics and I would like to write for CSIR/UGC/Net exam ,can you please guide me through as in life science can I write or not.

UGC NET CSIR has only the following options:

• CSIR Syllabus for Chemical Sciences I
• CSIR Syllabus for Earth Sciences
• CSIR Syllabus for Life Sciences
• CSIR Syllabus for Mathematical Sciences
• CSIR Syllabus for Physical Sciences

If you have a look at the syllabus and compare it with the syllabus for each of these CSIR Examinations, you would be able to get a clear idea. I think, Life Sciences is closest to Bio Informatics.
