UGC NET SLET CSIR FAQ

I am a student of physiology.Now I am doing Msc in physiology.I want to sit at the exam of NET and SLET. Now I am in 1st yr.I want to prepare myself from right now.How do I prepare myself? please inform me about the syllabus of physiology and the study material.

I have done my masters degree long before from Regional Engineering College Warangal. Almost 23 years back.Can I write the NET examination now?
